OUR school day
The school day will commence at 8am and finish at 3.30pm. Children will be able to access the school site from 7.30am and will need to be collected between 3.30pm and 4pm.
Each day will consist of six, one-hour periods with a 15 minute morning break and a one hour lunch break. Year 1 and Year 2 will have a more fluid timetable which will incorporate an additional break period.
OUR CURRICULUM
We recognise the strengths in curriculums such as Edexcel and Cambridge International, as they support the development of critical thinking, expose learners to a broader subject content and provide excellent subject resources to assist learners.
We acknowledge the strengths of the GES curriculum here in Ghana, that provides children with the opportunity to learn their own languages, understand aspects of their society (in ways that the international curriculum does not) such as festivals, tribes, ethnic groups and Ghanaian history.
We have therefore devised a bespoke curriculum that conflates key aspects of both the international and national curriculum, that best meets the needs of our students. Our curriculum equips our learners to have a thriving future in Ghana or anywhere around the world.
